The ACCESS-NRI reporting tools consist of several applications and APIs. The use of APIs allow a flexible and secure method for both ingestion of tracking and reporting data, and access to the stored data. The following APIs have been added to the system:
Github traffic API provides access to the number of clones and views for a given repository. This data is used to track the usage of the ACCESS-NRI Github repositories.
Github Traffic APIIntake catalogue API provides access to the usage patterns on the ACCESS-NRI Intake Catalogue tools. Metrics stored include, number of sessions, datasets loaded and common search terms.
Intake Catalogue APIModel releases API provides access to the model release data stored in the ACCESS-NRI database. This data is used to record detailed build provenance of the climate models developed and maintained by ACCESS-NRI.
Model Releases APIZenodo traffic API provides access to the number of downloads and views for a given Zenodo record. This data is used to track the usage of the ACCESS-NRI Zenodo records, which is useful measure of the impact of the ACCESS-NRI data and tools.
