ACCESS-NRI Terms of Use

End User Terms of Use agreement for individuals from partner Australian Research Organisations who wish to access and use UK Met Office proprietary software, which includes Unified Model (UM) components.
You must be affiliated with one of the following organisations that have signed agreements with the Met Office:
- Australian National University (ANU)
- University of New South Wales (UNSW)
- University of Tasmania (UTAS)
- Monash University (Monash)
- University of Melbourne (UniMelb)
Please note, in order to sign an ACCESS-NRI Terms of Use Agreement, your identity and affiliation to an ACCESS-NRI partner organisation must be verified. For this verification process, we access basic Australian Access Federation (AAF) user information including your name, email address and organisation. Please see our privacy policy for more information on how we handle your data.
We also require that you have an ACCESS-Hive Forum account, as you will be added to a forum group of signed users. This provides a dedicated channel for communication and membership visibility. If any issues arise after signing the agreement, we may message you directly via the forum. If you do not have an ACCESS-Hive Forum account, you can sign up for one here.
Please ensure AAF authentication is added to your ACCESS-Hive Forum account and that your AAF organisation matches the partner organisation under which you will sign this agreement. Please refer to this guide to add or update AAF authentication.
